The Ports-to-Plains Trade Corridor is a planned, multimodal transportation corridor including a multi-lane divided highway that will facilitate the efficient transportation of goods and services from Mexico, through West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma, and ultimately on into Canada and the Pacific Northwest.  In Colorado it includes US 287 from the Colorado/Oklahoma border through SE Colorado and US 50 provides a major connection to the Pueblo area.

Pueblo County Community Development Corporation is a non-profit organization which represents a cooperative effort between Pueblo County , the State of Colorado , and the private sector.  PCCDC provides low-interest loans to small businesses in Pueblo County who are creating jobs.  The program is designed to supply “gap” financing which can help complete the financing requirements for a business in conjunction with conventional financing.  Loans are generally used for inventory, equipment, or working capital.
